We are Mandrelekids, a small, family-owned company based in Latvia (European Union). We create beautiful, functional, and safe Montessori-inspired furniture for children.
Our story began when we searched for the perfect bed for our own child. We found the options lacking: either basic, unsafe designs, or beautiful but expensive pieces. We craved something more – furniture that nurtured a child's independence, sparked their imagination, and blended seamlessly into the home. So, we decided to create it ourselves.
Inspired by Montessori principles, we design furniture that encourages exploration, fosters a sense of security, and respects a child's autonomy. We use rounded corners and bed openings for safety, and hidden screw points for a clean aesthetic.
